QUESTIONS ABOUT THE BULLETS

Is that real that you formed
on 1988?
Yeah! Actually, none of the
present line up was playing in the first gig.
However, the godfather of the band
was Bullet Cost.
After a couple of gigs he joined
the band (after an accident of the pioneer drummer)
even if he never played drums
before!

Are you a Rockabilly or a Surf
band?
We are the Bullets! We like to
play Rock ‘n’ Roll music without trying to be within borders.
Of course, the basic members
Shockin’ and Cost, are rockers!
They adore 50’s , teddy boy
movement and rare surf music.
On the other hand, Captain-K
and Wrongman love beyond all these,
the teenage mid-sixties American
bands who create the mighty underground “garage” scene.
This is why you can hear the
unique style of the Bullets.

Which is you political stigma?
We try to keep politics out from
our music.
This is not meaning that we don’t
have opinion about all these political and government shits…
Some in the band may have
nationalist, or anarchist, right or left ideas.
The strong point is that we can
disguise all our thoughts in logical basis
and we agree that everything must
change in this world.
And the first thing is to fuck all
these economical giants who lead our world.

Your energy on stage is
unbelievable! How can you do this?
Definitely, without help of
…chemistry!!! We live the gig. We are totally wired on stage,
because we play what we want to
listen in a gig. We play for fun and we are happy for this.

What about Greek scene?
Greece is like an island in the
map of Europe. It’s too far from central countries,
so it’s too difficult to play
often in Europe and that’s the only reason for our not so well-known
Greek-scene.
